Summer Learning Journey

For this activity, let’s imagine that you were Neil Armstrong.
On your blog, write a short poem describing how you felt when you first set foot on the moon. Here is a link to some different poetry forms.

  1. Hi again summer!

Great poem, I really like how you have written about a range of emotions for moon walking! this is very realistic as it would be a scary and exciting experience! Would you want to moon walk? What kind of job would you like to do when you are older?

One way that you can make you poems even more exciting for next time is to try write a different type of poem. I would recommend trying to write a haiku poem :)

keep going with your awesome work!

  2. Hi Gabe,
When I am older I don't want to walk on the moon because I would feel to claustrophobic and feel like I couldn't breathe. When I am older I want to be a vet or a farmer because I would love to work with animals. Next time I will try and write a haiku poem.
