Summer Learning Journey

For this activity, imagine that you were asked to create a travel brochure for Tonga (or a country that is important to you). On the brochure, include lots of great tips about what to see and do in the country.
On your blog, post your finished copy of your brochure.

  1. Mōrena Summer,

It’s Leisha here again. I hope you have been having a wonderful summer break so far. It hasn’t felt very summery up here in Auckland. It has been quite cold and windy which is quite unusual for this time of the year. What fun things have you got up to during your holidays so far?

I like that you have created a travel poster for Australia. A heading saying “Australia” would be a great way to attract people to your poster too, as then they will know exactly what country/place you are promoting on your poster straight away. I can see you have chosen a few photos of the Gold Coast beaches and theme parks. Don’t forget to attribute any images you borrow from the internet or others. You can simply include the website links on your blog post to show us where you found them.

Gold Coast is a beautiful place. I lived there for 4 years and absolutely loved it. The theme parks are super fun and as you said, the sea water can be very warm too which is great for swimming all year round. It sounds like you have been to the theme parks before? What souvenirs did you buy? What theme park was your favourite?

Keep up the amazing posts Summer. Looking forward to reading your next one :)

    Leisha
