Summer Learning Journey

For this activity we are going to become more familiar with some of these amazing indigenous communities. Please click on the links below to learn more about these fascinating groups.
Once you have finished learning about these groups, please choose the two that interest you the most.
On your blog tell us the names of the two groups that you chose and then tell us at least two interesting facts about each group. To earn full points, you must provide two facts about both groups - 4 facts in total.
Papua New Guinea:
- There are about 840 distinct languages are spoken in Papua New Guinea,
- The population is almost entirely Melanesian

Aboriginal Australian:

Today, there are 250 uncommon language spread throughout Australia.
Aboriginal Australians could be the oldest population of humans living outside of Africa, where one theory says they migrated from in boats 70,000 years ago.

  1. Hi Summer,

It is great to see you have used headings for the two groups you have chosen.

You have shared some interesting facts. What was the most interesting fact that you found? I find it super interesting that some people believe that Aboriginal people migrated from Africa 70,000 years ago! That is such a long time ago!

Another awesome post Summer. Remember you might like to add pictures or colour to your posts to make them more eye-catching and interesting for the reader.
