A Moment In Time

I was in the golden sand.
My eyes squinting from the shining sun.

I could see the blue waves crashing down on the water. It sounded like rocks

smashing together. A sea salty smell filled the air as I ran towards the water

I could feel my feet sinking into the sand. I keeped running, I could feel

my fingertips slicing through the water. Now I am walking through the water.
I wait and wait until suddenly I see a wave then I get ready to jump into the wave.
Then I start to body surf on the wave. Oh no I see a huge wave coming my way.
CRASH!!

We have been learning to write a moment in time and

not turn it into a story.
